I understand the club is a science-led, voluntary forum for personal exploration and learning; it is not intended to validate, certify, or ‘prove’ personal psychic abilities.

I agree to behave respectfully and non-judgmentally toward all members. Regardless of any personally held belief or scepticism, I will not mock, belittle, harass, or pressure others to perform or take part.

I will not rank, compare, or publicly pressure others about results or abilities. Where a little friendly challenge can be helpful at times, this is always in the spirit of mutual support and exploration.

Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. I agree that what's shared in the group should stay in the group. I will be mindful of personal contact and ensure that any advice, guidance, readings or healings I offer are mutually agreed upon and not unsolicited.

I will obtain explicit consent before involving anyone in an activity or making physical contact. I acknowledge anyone may withdraw consent at any time and I will stop an activity immediately. I will respect everyone's privacy during and after sessions. Any information disclosed to me must be kept confidential and not shared with the wider group, or online without express permission.

In line with item 4, I will keep group reports, personal experiences, and identifying details confidential unless all involved agree to share them.

I will obtain permission before recording or sharing anyone’s image, audio, or data. Written consent is required for public distribution. I will respect requests for anonymity and limited use.

I understand club-owned equipment must remain on site. I am responsible for any personal equipment I bring and will label it.

I will privately tell a facilitator about any condition that could affect my safety or participation (e.g., epilepsy or sensitivity to flashing lights, heart conditions, allergies, migraines, sensory sensitivities, mental health conditions, including any history of psychosis or dissociation), I understand that I don't have to share anything I'm not comfortable with, and that facilitators may suggest adjustments or alternative activities.

I will not attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs. I understand that prescribed or over-the-counter medication is fine, and I will mention it only if it might affect my safety during an activity.

I understand that I can pause or stop any activity at any time without giving a reason.

I will follow facilitators’ instructions and role assignments (participant, observer, recorder, etc.) and abide by session procedures and safety measures.

I acknowledge the club does not validate psychic claims. I will not represent, imply, or publish that Centre for Liminal Studies, its facilities, technology partners, staff, facilitators, or volunteers endorse, verify, or certify any claimed abilities or phenomena or make any related claims without prior written permission. I will not use the organization’s name, logo, or staff as evidence of validation.

Participation is voluntary and at my own risk. The club and Centre for Liminal Studies are not responsible for personal property loss or for personal claims arising from participation. I agree to use reasonable care with equipment and to report damage or loss.

I agree to raise issues calmly with a facilitator or designated mediator. I understand breaches of this agreement (including consent violations, harassment, theft, or misuse of the organisation’s name/staff) may result in temporary or permanent removal and other actions.

I consent to facilitators following emergency procedures if I become incapacitated and to contacting emergency services if necessary.

Centre for Liminal Studies staff may take photographs or video during some sessions. Agreeing to this is optional and does not affect your membership or participation. You can decline any or all of the options below and still take part fully. If you don't consent: we will not photograph or film you, and we will crop or blur you out of any group footage before use. Images and video are for use by Centre for Liminal Studies and supporting sponsors. We will not sell your image or pass it to anyone else.

You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected]  We will stop any new use immediately and remove your image from our website, social media and presentations within one month. We cannot recall printed materials already distributed or research already published, but we will not use your image in anything new.
