The Centre for Liminal Studies investigates the thresholds of human experience: those transitional spaces, practices and states of consciousness where meaning emerges, boundaries shift and dissolve, and new forms of sensing, experiencing and understanding become possible.
Through a sensitive lens
We bring together rigorous inquiry and creative exploration to study the phenomena that arise between mental states, academic disciplines, and experienced worlds. By integrating empirical research, phenomenology, symbolic analysis, and ecological perspectives, we aim to illuminate how individuals and communities can perceive subtle information, predict and navigate change, encounter the unfamiliar, and participate in processes larger than themselves.
Our mission is to deepen understanding of liminality as a pervasive feature of life, to provide tools for constructively engaging with it, and to support the emergence of more connected, imaginative, and resilient ways of being.

Are you a little wyrd? A little psi-curious? Do you wonder if your mind can influence matter? Or if itâs possible to sense beyond the usual five senses? Perhaps know something about an event before it happens?
We believe you can. We believe that each of us can learn and cultivate subtle skills, and the best way to learn is through open play. âWyrd Wednesdaysâ is a relaxed and friendly consciousness exploration club, where we meet for casual psi testing and group experiences.
